LA-based Stage and Film Director/Actor.
Evan Patrick Adams is an award-winning film director. After undergoing classical actor training, Evan performed regionally for several years. He went on to direct original musicals for a non-profit theater called The Possibility Project that premiered at Off-Broadway theaters in New York City. During the pandemic, Evan transformed the show he was working on into a podcast musical called “Why Love” which went on to be nominated for a Webby Award for “Best Scripted Fiction” and won the Silver Award from the Anthem Awards. Evan then pursued an MFA from FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts. While there, Evan’s short film “The Man in the Blue Suit” was accepted into numerous film festivals and won “Best Action/Adventure” at the San Diego International Comic Con Film Festival, “Best Narrative Short” at the Tallahassee International Film Festival, as well as “Best Modern Day Short”, “Best Director”, and “Best Student Film” from The Wild Bunch Film Festival. Evan is based in Los Angeles, and is currently submitting his thesis film “Private I” to film festivals, working on filming another short film he wrote called “Work Cycle”, and writing scripts for narrative feature films.
